PDS is made up of community leaders with direct connections within specific local neighborhoods.  Our diverse workforce recognizes applying their unique expertise within community organizations, religious groups, special events, social gatherings, elected officials, and other creative methods.  Each representative of PDS understands their specific ethnic beliefs, community, local laws, and most important the obligation set upon in obtaining success to achieve our shared purpose.

 

Thomas Flanagan recognized a crisis that all MCO’s are facing.  While providing security services with MCOs, Flanagan realized the importance of certain individuals who became “lost” in the Managed Care system.  He went on to develop a diverse team made up of specific community leaders who would better understand how to link these individuals to their respective MCO.

 

 Professional Discovery Service’s sole purpose is to locate and then link Enrollees of Managed Care regardless of their sex, race, religion, location and disability.

Professional Discovery Service PDS, run by Thomas (TJ) Flanagan, was created for the sole purpose of locating and then linking Unable to Reach Medicaid Enrollees with their respective Managed Care Organization. As is often the case, MCO's are unable to make contact with certain enrollees, resulting in the inability to foster a managed-care plan. The lack of contact ultimately results in the deteriorated wellbeing of the enrollee and an increase cost to the MCO.

 

PDS recognized an opportunity to use their decades of experience to provide assistance that not only benefits their clients, but delivers an essential service to the community. Using our distinct "FIND" method, PDS is able to locate UTR Enrollees and put them in contact with their respective MCO. Our company takes pride in ensuring all aspects of the enrollees privacy are taken into account. Having a thorough understanding of the several laws governing healthcare privacy is a tremendous benefit to our company and our clients.

 

One of the key factors is recognizing the importance of maintaining a pleasant demeanor and sympathetic approach to matter related to the enrollees personal health. Implementing our experience has developed into a method that produces results free of intimidation or apprehension. Our diverse workforce provides for familiar encounters in all segments of the community. PDS utilizes the "soft appearance and manner approach" which distinguishes our procedures from the typical detective agency traditionally tasked with locating individuals. PDS will also complete the task of filling out the Initial Assessment for the MCO.
